Cabins were off limits this year so we stayed at the Ellisland tent camping area. Once again we had a great time with Webelos joining us. Our troop was able to spend a number of hours working with the Webelos to earn their Scouting and Castaway Adventures. The weather was great. The night hike to Tippling rock using only red light headlamps was awesome.

Another fantastic fall weekend spent cabin camping in Haynes Lodge along with some of the Webelos from Pack3104. Daytime temps in the 50’s, but dropping to a chilly 30 at night. No one had cold toes as the cabin was roasting warm from the wood stove, and using the outdoor fireplace for cooking and enjoyment. Letting the coals burn low, and enjoying camp stove popcorn, our Jack-o-lantern peered over the scouts as the stories of Sagi and other camp tales were told by special guest Alex, an Eagle of Troop 77. Night hikes to Tippling Rock topped off a great weekend.

Afternoon hike on a beautiful, but slightly chilly day in the 40’s. Searched out some lesser known locations like the glacial erratic, and former homestead foundations. Some of these “trails” are heavily overgrown and could be good sites for Eagle projects.
